LYC’s single-row needle roller bearings are designed with a thin cross-sectional profile, offering excellent rigidity and the ability to handle high radial loads, especially in applications with limited radial space.

Long cylindrical roller bearings

Long cylindrical roller bearings share similar characteristics with needle roller bearings but have larger radial cross-sectional dimensions, allowing them to support higher radial loads. While both types have a length-to-diameter ratio exceeding 3, a key distinction is in the roller length: long cylindrical rollers are longer than 5 mm, whereas needle rollers are shorter. Despite the structural similarities, these bearings are designed exclusively for pure radial loads and do not accommodate axial displacement between the shaft and the bearing housing. Additionally, any angular misalignment between the inner and outer rings is not tolerated.
